Modern Ski Socks Are Thinner And Comfortable

Update:19 Jan 2020

A good pair of ski socks can make or break your day on the slopes because they offer the ideal mix of comfort, cushioning, breathability, and support.

A quality ski sock gets the basics right: a close but not restricting fit, soft-touch materials that don’t itch, and enough cushioning to keep you on the slopes all day. The current top dog in sock construction is merino wool. It’s not scratchy like wool socks of old—in fact it’s quite soft and comfortable—and repels odor extremely well.

Modern ski socks also are thinner than in the past—boot liners have improved so that you no longer need an ultra-thick sock to be comfortable.

Our company offers sock options for both male and female feet. While anatomical foot and calf differences between males and females can result in different ski boot designs, a good ski sock is designed to fit snugly around a variety of foot sizes.
